Ulli Lommel (December 21, 1944 – December 2, 2017), was a German actor and director, noted for his many horror films, and for his career as an actor on Rainer Werner Fassbinder's films.

Each episode began with a tracking shot through an unspecified crime museum, stopping at one of the displays, whose story was then told.
