When Adrian processes the experiences of the father search in a novel and develop between Ludwig and Iris tender gang, even the resilience of Stadlerscher family gang seems to have finally exceeded their limits and their lust for the argument have lost the unifying force.

Set within a Viennese apartment block, this affectionate Austrian comedy makes fun of the strange habits of the famed city's residents. The building is located in a middle-class area and has residents from many age groups and walks of life. Many of the tenants are much older, but there are also a few children about. In one apartment lives a large group of Polish construction workers, while a Yugoslavian woman and her huge family attempt to survive in their tiny flat. The episodic story of the lives of these and other tenants is framed by a visit from a civil servant from the Office of Statistics.

Berlin in the 1920s is a vibrant metropolis. After the horrors of the First World War, people seek their fortune at parties, in glittering variety theaters and dance halls. So-called "ring clubs" dominate the world of crime. When Inspector Paul Lang finds his friend, public prosecutor Barnekow, dead in the crocodile pool of the Tiergarten, the mastermind seems clear, at least to him: the murder clearly bears the signature of Immanuel Tauss, the former head of the gangster ring "The Crocodiles". But Lang's biggest adversary, Tauss, is in prison. Together with his assistant Conrad Ruppert and his secretary, Lang sets about solving the case and encounters the unscrupulous up-and-comer Viktor Parkov and the fascinating vaudeville owner Irma Berger in Berlin's night world. Another corpse opens up a surprising twist, but Lang is already deeply entangled in his personal duel with Tauss - and himself.

Aunty Agatha has passed away at a healthy ninety years. She had known all along, that her family wanted nothing more than to get their hands on her riches. That's why she devised a cunning plan before leaving her kin - in a state discord: She hires former journalist Vincent to give her eulogy. Vincent's ex-wife Victoria, who runs an exclusive florist's shop branded "Leaf and Blossom" is to provide the floral arrangements for her funeral. Of course aunt Agatha didn't tell either half of the former couple, whose marriage didn't end too harmoniously either, that their ex was involved. When the will is read Agatha's family doesn't take it well that Victoria and Vincent are also bequested and it doesn't help that the total value of the legacy seems to be much lower than they hoped for. But aunty is sending her avaricious offsprings onto a deviously plotted scavenger hunt that's leading them to the real fortune. Victoria and Vincent of course are given the crucial clues to take the lead.

At his place of refuge, the Salzburg mountains, the heiress to a private clinic is desperately looking for a capable chief physician. Daniel declines the post, although he finds the woman attractive. When a boy is seriously injured in a bus accident, he is confronted with his trauma again.

When the chance arose to get one of the coveted places in the corps de ballet, Anna was immediately hooked and trained day and night. The only opposition to her plan comes from her father, who wants to protect her from the immense pressure. His worries do not seem unfounded: Anna's path to the top turns out to be steep and rocky - and gradually leads to a nightmare.
